2 hour in-home visit*. Helping couples navigate the early weeks of parenting with a confident plan. Enjoy expert advice on feeding and settling from a trained sleep specialist and certified lactation consultant. What you can expect:

  • Observing and assisting newborn feeding patterns, correcting positioning/attachment problems, reducing nipple trauma, and preventing mastitis whilst meeting nutritional need for optimal growth.
  • Explanation of baby cries/body language and pre-curser sounds so you can interpret your baby’s needs more easily and reduce unnecessary tears.
  • Understanding age-appropriate awake times from 0-12 months, with suggested sleep times, play ideas and awake windows.
  • Early settling tools to keep things simple and prevent the introduction of multiple sleep aids.
  • Helping parents to predict early to late tired signs and determine the best times for naps, whilst helping your little one to link sleep cycles together for refreshing sleep, that the whole family can benefit from.
  • How to prevent/reduce colic and reflux symptoms with non-pharma logical methods.
  • Suggestions of tools, tricks, and methods to make parenting easier.
  • From 4-7 weeks we can create patterns of care that formulate structure and bedtime routines that promote longer sleep in the dark hours.

2-6 months Package $370

2 hours in-home visit*. Learn to prevent or solve issues resulting from growth spurts and sleep regressions. The 4-month sleep regression is notorious for bringing parents to breaking point. The single wake overnight turning into an unpredictable nightmare of multiple call outs, or alternatively the baby that only cat naps by day. We have helped hundreds of families get their little one sleeping through the night, as well as getting the day sleeps, they need. What you can expect:

  • Help to determine what is hindering your baby’s sleep by day and overnight night.
  • Sleep training through 1.2.3 Sleep Strategy, that moves through a formulated set of settling techniques that teaches your little one to self-settle.
  • Understanding on reading body language to determine early-late tired signs and knowing when is the best time for bed.
  • Creating a bedtime routine that will promote your little one to sleep through the night with 0-1 feed.
  • Guidance on how to lose sleep aids and make sleep association tools to promote longer sleep.

  • You will have more time to do the things you need to do, as well as the things you would like to do (Start a hobby).

7-18 months Package $390

2 hour in-home visit* to assess your little ones current behaviour in play and settling whilst giving solutions to solve cat napping and/or waking overnight. At this age the problem can be more subtle. Your little one is getting older and habits have started to form. They can be more aware of their environment which in itself can be a hinder or help to sleep patterns. We help determine why what you have tried hasn’t worked and create settling techniques that have been proven to work time and time again. What you can expect;

  • We do not teach cry it out method or control crying but there will most likely be some crying involved. We help parents understand the difference between protest and distressed cry, so you know which cries need your attention and which you can leave.
  • We help you to determine your child’s body language in regards to early-moderate-late tired signs so that you can be guided by them instead of the wall clock, for appropriate bedtimes.
  • You will be given a bedtime routine that will create all night sleep without call outs (normally takes just 3-7 nights).
  • Your little one will no longer cat nap during the day but will be an expert in stringing sleep cycles together, giving you more time to do the things you want.
  • There eating patterns by day will often improve with more sleep and stimulating play.
  • We can assist if they are having trouble with mobility or movement patterns, so they can develop their natural milestones with ease.
  • We can help if early behavioural problems have started with some positive and negative discipline suggestions that help to shape boundaries and good behaviour.

1½-3 years Package $400

2 hours of feed-play-sleep training in the comfort of your toddlers own environment*. The foundations of sleep are often set in the first 12 months of life. Patterns and habits are starting to get harder to break for toddlers as well as parents at this age. Common problems include; unwanted behavioural issues, tantrums, fussing eating, regression with the arrival of a sibling, sleep refusal, long drawn out settling for bed, call outs or getting out of bed in the night. How we can help;

  • Creating age-appropriate play and sleep times that help reduce nap refusal.
  • Designing a bedtime routine for your child’s personality that will promote all night sleep.
  • Teach discipline ideas to set boundaries/consequences of actions which in turn helps them to make good choices. We also do positive reinforcement through rewards charts and prize boxes.
  • We help make delayed gratification through play ideas, which in turn supports their ability to calibrate emotions, as well as increase their ability to self-settle.
  • We create environments for eating well, playing to learn, and quick settling strategies to boost sleeping patterns by day and night.
  • We help guide you to meet nutritional needs through solids and fluids.
  • We do a lot of preparing little ones to transition to day-care with less tears and how to handle a tired grumpy toddler that refuses to sleep anywhere but home.
  • We also help families prepare or transition during the arrival of a new sibling.
  • Included in the package is a 10 minute follow up call 4 days after the in home visit.
*Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee for confirmed in-home visits. Any additional time is charged at $150 per hour or part thereof.
