Newborn Solutions offers support to couples all over Australia and overseas. You can receive help in the comfort of your own home with Virtual Alison in your living room. It is helpful to have a smart phone or Ipad for the consultation. Head phones are not required but can sometimes be helpful if you can have these available.
For Australian clients with Medicare there are generous Medicare Rebates for these consultations. You can see bookings page for pricing and rebates.

New clients
If you are brand new to Newborn Solutions and requesting a Virtual Consultation this one is for you. It includes a 60 minute video consultation and written resources package including; interpreting tired signs, understanding baby cries, 12 months feed-play-sleep summary sheet, age appropriate 1.2.3 Settle Strategy. (additional time if needed, does come with additional charges). This is eligible for Medicare rebate.
Ongoing phone or video virtual consultations
You can now book time slots in 15-minute increments. All come with Medicare Rebates.
- Short 15 minutes – You might need clarification, check in post home visit consultation. You may have just a couple of questions when your little one is going through a transition (this one is for you).
- Medium 30 minutes – More than 2-3 questions have come up. You might be needing a slightly longer follow up, problem solving or fixing something new (this one is for you).
- Long 45 minutes – This one is when you might be going through a change like; starting solids, starting day care, growth spurt or sleep regression. Needing some tips and tricks to get back or stay on track (this one is for you).
- Full 60 minutes – Just wanting a refresher. The wheels might have fallen off and we need time to do a settle together. You might simply have lots of questions or need to go over something that needs a bit more detail (this one is for you).
The Consultation can be extended if time allows with other bookings. Additional fees apply if time goes over, alternatively fees reduced if full time slot not required. Please consider how much time you need-the best you can.
Optional extras
- Personalised routine – Have a 2 page written resource emailed to you. They last 2 months, they are individually made with; your child’s age, development, family lifestyle, how many children in the family, parent preference of start of day. These have been very popular and families have declared them as the icing on the cake of success to combat sleep problems.
You can book these via text or on the booking site. You will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire so that these can literally be personalised to your baby/toddler and family needs. Eligible for Medicare rebate. - Text support – This can be purchased by clients who have had an in-home visit recently or post video-consultation or long-term clients. There are terms and conditions that we ask you to comply with. These are sent to any client requesting text support.
You can purchase 3 or 4 consecutive days of text support. It is only to be used between the hours of 0700-1900 (Australian QLD time). It is limited to 3-4 texts per day (additional texts can incur additional charges) and we ask you to number your questions. We cannot always answer you in real time and so we suggest reading over the information you have been given & problem solve and then use this tool to seek clarification. We believe you can do it, but want to support you along the way.
